We all miss traveling the world, so let's bring the world to our community!
Participate in this year's event and recreate your favorite structure, existing or past, from anywhere around the world!
Please provide a photo (from Google is fine!) of your structure once you register so we can showcase it next to your creation. We're all excited to see what you will make!
Working with the theme, registered parties create their version to display in the windows of downtown businesses during December. All aspiring Gingerbread Architects welcome!

GUIDELINES FOR ENTRY
$15 Entry fee, cash or check. Choose a home, building or interesting structure from around the world to recreate. Though they will not be eaten, all visible materials should be edible* (no plastic trees, silk flowers..) Base size should be 18"x18" and should be sturdy (dense foam, plywood, etc). Feel free to get creative all the way to the edges of your base—the more there is to look at, the better! Use Royal Icing generously as the glue and allow it to dry between coats. Never made a Gingerbread House before? Not a problem!
* Interior structure can be made of cardboard, Rice Krispy treats, etc.

TIPS & BEST PRACTICES
Your creation will be displayed in a window for multiple weeks. Perishable items (like non-candied vegetables or fruit) are best avoided to prevent spoilage.
While chocolate is a wonderful decoration, do remember it melts! Modeling Chocolate is a great alternative to achieve similar looks without the mess.
